Shopee Express packages are stuck in DC Semarang, netizens say they haven’t moved for days

Complaints about the Shopee Express delivery service in the Semarang area have continued to emerge in recent times. A number of users admitted that their packages were stuck at the Semarang Delivery Center (DC) and had not moved for days.

Monitoring on social media shows that many customers find the delivery status stops at the statement “arrived at DC Semarang” without any further updates. In fact, some of them said that the estimated arrival time for the package had passed, but the goods had not yet been received.

The comments column on various posts was filled with similar complaints from customers. One user wrote about his experience, “My package is all stuck.” Another user also admitted that his package had been in the same location for three days without a change in status.

A number of netizens began to question SPX’s operational performance in the city. “What’s really going on with SPX Semarang DC? My package was stuck from February 18-26 and finally the Shopee system automatically canceled because it didn’t work,” wrote a user on social media. He said that more than ten of his packages were ultimately canceled by the system because they had not been processed.

Complaints also emerged regarding customers’ attempts to contact the delivery service. A user admitted that he had tried to send a message to a circulating WhatsApp number, but the message only showed one tick without a reply.

Some customers suspect that delivery delays occurred due to a surge in the volume of packages entering the sorting warehouse in Semarang. The increase in transactions is thought to be related to big promotions such as the Ramadhan Sale which offers various discounts, thereby triggering an increase in orders.

However, until now, Shopee and Shopee Express have not provided an official statement regarding the cause of the delivery delay.

This situation is considered detrimental to some buyers because the system in the Shopee application can automatically cancel orders if they exceed the specified delivery time limit.

However, customers are still advised to be careful and ensure they only contact official services via the Shopee application if they experience delivery problems. This step is important to avoid potential fraud in the name of customer service.**
